Y&R Has Been #1 in W18-49 Since Christmas

Young & The Restless was on top of the women 18-49 demographic once again- spot the soap hasn’t given up since last Christmas when it lost to GH. Fun fact: Y&R, GH and DAYS have all held first place in the last year. B&B held first in the summer of 2020 upon its return with new episodes.

As with last week, Y&R held the four highest rated episodes in the demographic and was the only soap to clear a .40. B&B held number 5, two episodes tied for 7th and tied for 10th.

Monday’s Episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’ Ranks 6th!

GH had a rough week, but a consistent one with three episodes of the ABC soap opera tied for 10th. The biggest shocker? DAYS ranked in 6th place with its Monday episode, which ranked second for the day among the four soaps.

Outside the top 10, B&B ranked 14th, the other two episodes of GH held 15th and 18th, and DAYS held 16th, 17th, 19th and last place. I’ll break down the day-to-day below

Y&R Has been #1 in Women 25-54 Since September 2020

In women 25-54, guess who won? Yep, Y&R which has been one every week since August 31st, 2020, when GH held the top spot. the only other soap to come close was B&B, which tied Y&R for a week last December.

Y&R pulled off a clean sweep of the top 5, with Friday’s .71 rating taking first place. In fact, Y&R was the only soap to earn anything higher than a .58 rating this week. The older CBS soap dominated with Wednesday’s .69 and Monday’s .68 just as impressive. Even if it had performed like it did on Thursday and Tuesday all week, Y&R would still have been effortlessly #1.

B&B held number 6, two episodes tied for 7th and held 10th. GH kept CBS from sweeping the top ten by tying for 7th place. B&B was close to giving CBS the sweep as the half-hour soap held number 11. Still, this was one heck of a week for CBS compared to the other networks.

GH held the number 12 through 14 slots, with Wednesday, Monday and Thursday’s episodes. DAYS had its highest ranking episodes on Monday and Thursday, tying with GH for 14th place. Just behind that was GH’s lowest rated episode (Friday, ) in 17th followed by the Wednesday, Tuesday and Friday episodes of DAYS.
